Hila is a painter that aims to communicate the gaze onto the substance and material, using mostly oil on canvas technique. Hila is an MFA graduated in creative Arts from Haifa University (2013), living and working in Yokne’am.
Her works are usually serial focus on daily events and objects, such as cloths on the bed, found objects on the way to the studio, nature, and more dramatic occurrences such as a funeral or a prayer session. Her artworks are expressive, rich and colorful, but also tender and gentle, they seem intimate as if they were to tell you something private.
