Eyal Assulin is a multi-disciplinary artist who, through his imposing installations, explores socio-cultural issues in Israeli society, such as mass consumption, machismo, and Orientalism. Eyal lives and works in Ofakim, far from the Tel-Aviv cultural centers, symbolizing an act of support of his native community.
During his stay at AFAR, he taught drawing to guests, while at the same time, his solo exhibition "Majesty" was on display at the Haifa Museum of Art.
